This is not a situation where the price of every item is affected. It appears that possibly any item that may have been used in a transaction is affected System changes the decimal point position on prices. For example, a fixture that was priced at $300.00 was shown in the system at $3.00.

Uncheck the QB preferences ?automatically place decimal point?
