Backing Up NumberCruncher Work Orders

NumberCruncher data is NOT BACKED UP when you do a backup in QuickBooks. You must back up the NumberCruncher data separately. The NumberCruncher data file has a .NCB file extension (e.g. Your Company.NCB).  To find your NumberCruncher Data, you can do a search for '*.NCB'.  You can back up the file by copying or backing-up the file as you would any other Windows file.

Note: If you are backing up data before an update, consider also backing up the Excel import templates as they are overwritten during an update.
