NumberCruncher can be used in either a Windows based
peer-to-peer network or domain controlled network.
Consult system documentation for setting up
networks.
Peer-to-peer networks are networks that do not use a separate
computer for shared resources, rather shared files and printers are attached to
each computer.
Domain controlled networks manage resources on different
computers, such as file and printer sharing, from a central location.
The network administrator must grant user access to
the resources on other computers.
Regardless of the type of network, the location of the
NumberCruncher .NCB data file must be in a folder that is SHARED with read/write
and create/delete rights to the directory where the file is stored.
For better performance of both QuickBooks and NumberCruncher map
the network drive.
