NumberCruncher releases one major version of its products per year and a number of service packs in between. The major version release carry an update charge while the service packs are complimentary. Our updates are approximately 35% of the original purchase. Although our updates are not mandatory, skip an update you will be required to pay for missed update charges. If you purchase our product in the middle update cycle, you will be entitled to a special discount which effectively prorates your update charge.
No new features will be added to older versions, we will continue to support them for a period of three years after their initial release. Version 1.X will be supported until March 2005, Version 2.X will be supported until June 2006.
