Rule to restrict certain BOM kit items by customer
A rule to restrict certain BOM kit items by customer selected on the sales order. For example, Company X is permitted to purchase item Y. Company Z does not see item Y as an option in the config.

Tracking revisions
Engineering would like to track revisions of parts without creating multiple items.... An example is a motherboard with different firmware. After discussing a few things with Ian there would be a way to accomplish this by creating a custom field at the Serial Number Level called Revision which will hold the revision data. On the latest version there is a box in the custom field editor that says 'make visible on grid/screen'. This will display the column on the Entry Form, and the Get Available and Item Info.

Add Customer PO in Ship Doc Tab of Cust Info
Currently the Customer PO number is a default column in the Sales Order / Quotes tab under the Customer Info screen of each customer account but the PO is not shown when you go to the Ship Docs / Customer Returns tab. Many times when I look back at a customer's ship docs I need the ability to look through the list and find a specific PO number. I think this is a simple yet useful addition that would make the Sales Orders and Ship Docs tabs seamless.

Change to Assign Time
On work orders we are hoping to start using the 'Assign Time' feature. However when time starts it prohibits the user from using anything else. Since our stations use multiple parts and they may need to access documentation while working, this makes it hard for us to utilize. Being able to minimize this window and continue working would be beneficial for us.

Direct Open Field
I would like the ability to open a document based on the document name or customer PO from the home screen without having to load a list and search for the document. When a customer is on the phone I don't need to sit there waiting for the Sales Orders list or Ship doc lists to Load/Refresh. Just a simple textbox for the Document name/PO number and an option box to select what type of document I want to pull up.

Installer Option to Skip Database backup during installation of new version
I would like a UI check-box or command-line argument to disable the database backup process that is performed whenever a new version of AllOrders is installed. The backup process needlessly increases the duration of AllOrders Updates when you have to execute several.

Timing Difference Column when making a stock adjustment
We have found that sometimes we are adjusting quantities incorrectly as there are currently timing differences due to sales orders being open and not sent etc so it is not actually a stock qty difference, just a timing difference. I would like to see this information in the quantity adjustment itself so you don't have to flick back and forth between different reports. A column for each of these would be very helpful. current AO QTY, New on hand, and timing differences. Is this possible to see this information?

Feature to change location transfer number manually
We need to change location transfer numbers manually. We use this number as a release from 1 location to another. We should be able to change it as we do in ship doc or PO. Thanks.

Configurable BOM on Customer Returns
The configurable BOM does not work in customer returns ~ seems pretty fundamental that if you can ship a configurable BOM, you should be able to build a customer return document to receive that product back.

Transfer - notification by line item
After entering a long list of items to transfer and try to save, errors come up with bin location error or not enough on hand to transfer. Instead of waiting until the whole list entered, it would be nice if it would notify and time of entering each line item. Sometimes there is a long list of error and i have to write down each one to correct.

Leave cursor in place after cloning a Inventory Item
Today when you clone/copy an inventory item, the cursor reverts back to the top of the item list. This causes one to run down the list until the new item is found. Since the new item always/often/usually requires editing, It would save time and reduce aggravation if the cursor was left on the newly created item.

Disable editing of default shipping address
When a company processes drop ship orders, a commonly made mistake is that the default ship-to address is edited when a drop ship address or customer info is entered and saved. There needs to be a mechanism that does not allow the editing of the default ship-to address. So that on the next drop ship order, the address that is automatically available is the account default address and not the last drop ship address processed.

Require Class field on Sales Order
I would like to see an option on the sales order to require the class field to be filled (similar to what is set up now where I can require the shipping method).

WORK ORDER SCREEN COLUMN SELECTION
Work order screen. Preference option to add a column or change the information that we see to average cost since this is what is recorded in QuickBooks and on our financial statements.

Copy All Item Accounts
Currently when copying an item, only the Income Account is copied. COGS Account and Asset Account are left blank. Why can't these be copied as well? It would help a lot for duplicating products.

Printed tick box on sales order
Can we have an auto trigger to mark a sales order as printed when it is printed. We receive sales orders via EDI (several per hour). Our dispatch manager needs a quick visual on which SOs have been printed for picking and which are new since his previous print run, as he is not always in front of his PC. to monitor incoming SOs.

Lots and Serial lookup link from Item Info Screen
When in the Item Info Screen details and you see serial or lots number it would be very convenient and time saving to be able to doble-click on the Lot No. in order to view the Receiver in which that Lot was added to the inventory

Seperate Columns for Quantity Amounts in Multiple Locations
With multiple building locations it would be excellent if you could go to the item list and see inventory amounts in multiple building locations on the same line for the Item #. What I want is when you have the item #, it shows the Total Qty available and then i want to add columns for each location showing the Qty at Warehouse 1, 2 and so on. Right now you have to click on the info circle to see quantities in your warehouses when it makes more sense to have that on the item list screen instead of going further along. NumberCruncher made it so you could have a seperate line for the same Item # if you had the same Item # in 2 locations but it still would be best on the same line.

Color Coded Highlighting of Work Order Steps
It would be great if the individual Steps of a Work Order were color coded based on their status: Waiting = Red Ready = Green In Production = Blue Finished = Gray This would just apply to the individual row of each step. It would make reading the overall status at-a-glance much easier.
