Custom Field option values made inactive rather than deleted
Some documents need to maintain a record of which custom field option value was selected for that document, even if that option value is not currently offered. Allowing custom field option values to be de-activated, rather than deleted, would allow the old values to be saved on the document forever.

Default Lot/Serial Expiry Date
Hi, In the Preferences, under the Lot/Serial #s option, the user can designate a default number of days before a lot/serial# expires. Would it be possible to designate a default expiry date instead? Example: if we could choose to set the default expiry date in preference settings to '01/01/1900') Not all of our inventory has expiry dates. Unfortunately when we delete the expiry date during receipt, or enter a null value, an expiry date is still generated for the lot in the system - which ultimately ends up as "noise" in our expiry data.

Multiple Barcodes for an Inventory Item
It would be very helpful to allow multiple barcodes to be linked to a single item. We have items that have several different barcodes (usually due to variations in packaging) but we see it as a single inventory item. Perhaps this is possible by seperating each UPC with a comma under the purchasing section of an item.

Drop ship box on SO screen
add a drop ship box sales order screen. Then when you run your deficiency report it will show up as a drop PO instead of standard Po into your location

Shipping Labels
(When creating shipping labels) allow for the system to detect if a package has been created for a line item with more than 1 that is packaged together; or multiple line items that have been packaged together on a Ship Doc. This would allow for only the exact number of packages to have shipping labels print. The alternate to avoid wasting labels is to package everything on the Ship Doc and then print package labels as shipping labels ... which is very time consuming.

Multiple email addresses for different documents
Number Cruncher allows us to set up a "bill to" email address and a "ship to" email address. Unfortunately, this system only one or the other. We would like to be able to set up or adjust the mapping for this feature to allow multiple email addresses to be used. In our case, the "bill to" would go to the customers accounting department and the "ship to" would go to the customers purchasing department. As it is now, when we send out documents (order confirmations and invoices) it always pulls from the "ship to" email.

Lock ability to un invoice or undo bill
We would like a way to lock or only allow someone by giving them access through their user id the ability to un invoice or undo a bill.

Sort Order
There are many different lists available in All Orders with many columns to customize and choose from. It would be nice if we could sort the lists similar to Excel. If I sort a list by date, then sort by customer it should group the customers and still keep them in date order (or document no.) Basically, a multiple sort function instead of filtering is what I'm requesting.

Ship Docs / Cust Returns tab
I wanted to email you all with a feature request suggestion for the next build. Currently when viewing a Customer Info screen in the Sales Orders / Quotes tab, a column exists for the Customer PO. This column does not exist in the Ship Docs / Cust Returns tab and it’s the only major difference in visible columns in the two different tabs. It would be extremely helpful to be able to go to the Ship Docs tab and see/find an order by viewing/searching the Customer PO number.

Allow negative quantity components on work orders.
Allow negative quantity required for components on work orders to put components back into stock when order is finished.

Repair Order to allow Assembly BOM or Repair Order BOM to populate Repair Order "Item" list.
We receive assemblies back in for repair but find that we are replacing most of the components. It would be easier for us to populate the Repair Order "Item" list using the BOM vs having to manually enter so many components every time. Or, if you can allow a the Repair Order to have its own BOM per each assembly PN that would be even better! Thanks..

Landed Cost Breakdown
In previous softwares we have utilized, on an individual item's "card" the landed cost info is displayed. The info displayed would be: Unit cost from vendor; duty, freight, insurance, and other charges.

Audit Trail of Transactions
We NEED to have an audit trail. Summary: For every object or transaction that is Created, Edited or Deleted..we need the following: 1) Object Created (who/date) 2) Object Edit (what field/who/date- includes all tabs.) 3) Object Deletion (number, who, date) This request is short is simple, but the need is urgent and necessary.

FTP Data Export
We are receiving more and more pressure from our internet clients to provide a live "FTP" feed for their web based customers. Essentially the program will have to virtually build assemblies to show inventory availability on the web, without allocating components to job orders in the system. Our company is looking into other ERP software that can handle this request, although it would be preferred to have the software developed to fit our needs without purchasing/implementing a new system. Map Sales Order Number into QB When Invoicing
Currently, when we create an Invoice from a Receiving Doc, the AO Sales Order number does not get mapped and filled into the relevant Sales Order field within the QB Invoice, and we're forced to manually copy and paste that number for every single invoice. Can this please be mapped in correctly?

Map Ship Doc Ref field into a QB custom field on QB Invoice
When we create an Invoice from a Ship Doc, we would like to have the Ship Doc Ref field (which is trackable within AO) to be mapped into a custom field on our QB Invoices ("Tracking#"). We now have to cut and paste it each time. It would also be helpful to have the ability to map standard AO fields into standard or custom QB fields, as that would save us time. We would not need it to go both ways, only AO to QB would be fine (to prevent AO database problems.)
